Welcome to our Jesus-Centered Wellness blog! Today, we have a refreshing and healthy mocktail recipe that's perfect for summer or any time you need a burst of fresh, fruity flavor. This Peachy Lemon Mocktail is not only delicious but also packed with nutrients to keep you feeling your best. Let's get started!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)

  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Start by peeling and slicing the ripe peaches. If you prefer, you can leave the skin on for added texture and nutrients. Place the peach slices into a blender.

  2. Squeeze the juice from one lemon and add it to the blender with the peaches. The lemon juice will add a zesty kick and balance the sweetness of the peaches.

  3. Blend the peaches and lemon juice until smooth. If you like your mocktail a bit sweeter, add a tablespoon of honey or agave syrup and blend again.

  4. If you prefer a smoother drink, you can strain the peach and lemon mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp. This step is optional and depends on your texture preference.

  5. Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour about 1/2 cup of the peach and lemon mixture over the ice, then top off with 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to combine.

  6. Garnish your Peachy Lemon Mocktail with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon. This adds a touch of elegance and an extra hint of freshness.

Health Benefits:

Peaches: Rich in vitamins A and C, peaches are great for your skin and immune system. They also provide dietary fiber which aids in digestion.

Lemon: High in vitamin C, lemons help boost your immune system and improve skin health. They also have detoxifying properties.

Honey/Agave Syrup: These natural sweeteners are a healthier alternative to refined sugar and add a subtle sweetness without the guilt.

Sparkling Water: A great way to stay hydrated, sparkling water adds a fun fizz to your drink without any added sugars or calories.

As you enjoy this refreshing Peachy Lemon Mocktail, take a moment to reflect on the abundance of God's creation. Every ingredient in this drink is a gift from Him, designed to nourish our bodies and delight our senses.
